How To Delete Unwanted Emails From a Gmail Account?

Gmail is a great medium for sending emails. Not only personal messages, but you can also send important business mails through this because it is a secure medium of sending mail. Apart from this, Gmail also provides 15 GB of storage to its users, which allows them to save more and more mails. However, sometimes we also get non-essential mails, due to which 15GB space of Gmail becomes full and mails stop coming to your Gmail inbox. Although this problem can be dealt with in two ways, today in this article I will tell you about these two methods in brief.

Following is the first method to delete unwanted Gmail mails.

The best way to delete unnecessary emails is to use the 'Filters for Auto-Deletion' feature. This feature was introduced by Google on its platform a few years ago. It is very easy to use this feature.

  • Step 1. First of all, visit Gmail on your personal computer or laptop.
  • Step 2. After that go to the search bar option and select the right side filter icon.
  • Step 3. Here you will see a box from where you can remove unwanted messages of any service. Let me tell you that in this feature, there is a facility to filter many types of mails including the archive.
  • Step 4. After selecting the preferred option, press on the "Create Filter" option and select the "Delete it" option.

Following is the second method to delete unwanted Gmail mails.

Talking about another way, that is, buying mail space, you have to pay around 150 rupees monthly to use this service. This method is good for those people who want to increase the space of their Gmail account without consuming much time.
