What is UNGA (United Nations General Assembly)?

UNGA (United Nations General Assembly) is one of the six major organs of the United Nations (UN). The UNGA finalizes the UN budget, appoints the non-permanent members to the Security Council, appoints the Secretary-General of the United Nations, receives reports from other parts of the UN system, and makes recommendations through resolutions.
