The new "Important Project of Common European Interest" is called "IPCEI ME/CT", and its member countries include Austria, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Spain. Member states will provide 8.1 billion euros in public funding and are expected to unlock an additional 13.7 billion euros in private investment going forward.

 

The research and development content of "IPCEI ME/CT" covers materials, tools, microelectronics and communication technologies in the chip design and manufacturing process. 56 companies will undertake 68 projects to develop technologies beyond the current market, involving sensors, high-performance processing Devices, microprocessors and other fields.
