What is the full form of RSA?
RSA stands for "Rivert-Shamir-Adleman".
It is one of the oldest and famously used cryptosystems public-key. It provides a wide field by securing the data transmission. The acronym is actually the amalgamation of three people involved in this project and are; Ron Riverst, Adi Shamir, and Leonard Adleman. These three people came forward with the algorithm of the technology. The declaration of the algorithm was publicly announced during the period of the early 1977s.
This key is actually a decryption key that is meant to be kept private. This key is designed in such a way that it can be opened by a public key, but it cannot be decoded by anyone. So, this keeps the privacy intact.
With the advancement of time, it has progressed in such a way that it is used less nowadays because it is considered to be a relatively slow algorithm.
