What is the meaning of SSD?

It is a device that uses integrated circuit assemblies to store data persistently, typically using flash memory, and functioning as secondary memory in the hierarchy of computer storage.

To summarize, it is a type of pc storage that is faster than a hard drive. In comparison, the worst type of SSD works better than a regular hard disk because it is able to read and write at least three times faster than a regular hard drive. Now as the technology is advancing, major companies are switching over to this type of pc storage. The initial difference can be noticed while switching on the computer or hopping from a spree of different tasks.

Since it is gaining popularity, more audience is getting attracted towards this technology hence raising the cost in the market. With the cons that the hard disk arrives in the market, it sure is comparatively pocket friendly than this technology.

There are two different types of SSDs:

1. SATA SSD: it is flat and rectangular looks like a regular hard disk. It is cost-efficient as compared to the other model. It offers almost the same kind of features as a hard disk does. But the key feature is the pc that has this type of SSD has three-four times wider bandwidth.
2. NVMe SSD: it is four-five times faster than the SATA SSD. It is better and is more expensive.
